March 26, 7pm Medway Library- “Myths and Miracles of Modern Medicine”- Myrtle Mills, a fictional lady who has endured “every affliction known to man” introduces us to Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell, hygiene practices, patented “remedies”, kitchen- cupboard concoctions, dentistry, pregnancy, and industry-altering discoveries such as the x-ray and practices that, in today’s world, defy common sense.

The Southeastern MA Community Concert Band will once again return to the Medway Senior Center for a concert on September 18th at 6:30pm.
The 40+ piece band has been based in Medway for over 45 years!
Their repertoire includes many well-known songs including show tunes, big band music, marches, patriotic songs (including a tribute to our veterans), and more!

Step off the Beaten Path and into the Big Outdoors in this fun-loving Participatory Program with award-winning storyteller Diane Edgecomb. We’ll go on a fossil dig in Montana to discover a new dinosaur and take on the world’s sassiest bugs all before we break out our lunch pails. Join in the stories, songs and FUN that have made Diane Edgecomb one of New England’s favorite storytellers. Diane has been featured on NPR and is a winner of a Parent’s Choice award for her CDs and recordings. Hosted by the Medway Public Library, brought to you by the Medway Cultural Council.
